Alliance Air expands connectivity in Assam & Arunachal

Guwahati: With the vision of connecting India, Alliance Air has established a new route utilising its Dornier 228 aircraft between Dibrugarh in Assam and Tezu in Arunachal Pradesh.

Alliance Air, a government-owned airline, inaugurated a route between Dibrugarh, Assam, and Tezu, Arunachal Pradesh, on Thursday. This will improve air connections between tier 2 and tier 3 communities in order to link passengers to important routes.

The expanding air connectivity in India's north-eastern area would assist boost tourism and trade in the region, as well as contribute to the states' economic growth.

The Dornier 228 aircraft is HAL's first-ever manufactured in India aircraft.

The new Dibrugarh-Tezu route will run three times per week beginning on June 2, 2022, with the 17-seater Dornier 228 outfitted with an air-conditioned cabin and the capacity to fly both day and night operations.

Flight Schedule:

Flight 91 405 will leave Dibrugarh at 08:25 a.m. and arrive in Tezu at 09:00 a.m.

Flight 91 406 will leave Tezu at 09:20 a.m. and arrive in Dibrugarh at 1000 a.m.

A one-way all-inclusive cost will begin at INR 1,090.
