The latest version of Google software which is Android 13, is officially here.

Android 13 has been launch:

Android 13 is now available for download from August 16, with eligible devices and a set of new features.

The list of Pixel devices starts at Pixel 4 and above so if you still have an older Pixel 3, one will not be getting the update. The latest version of Android comes with some new features for phones and tablets, including the ability to extend app color themes to more apps, language settings at the app level, privacy controls, and the option to copy-paste media from one device to another with just a click.

Look of the newly launched Android 13:

Talking of the look, the users will be excited and amazed to know that they will be getting an evolution of the Material You theme, with the theming engine now supporting icons of third-party apps, while the updated media player automatically changes its appearance based on the music or podcast you're listening to.

Other features:

One can also assign specific languages to specific apps, and Bedtime mode is getting more customizable too, with wallpaper dimming and a dark theme.

It is to be noted that Spatial Audio is now supported in Android which means that users will have supported headphones for the feature which allows head tracking. Bluetooth LE Audio is also supported, and again you'll need accessories that can work with this. However, if they have them then they should expect lower latency Bluetooth sound, enhanced quality, and support for broadcasting audio to multiple devices at the same time.

The newly updated taskbar on tablets lets the users see all the apps at a peek, and allows them to easily drag and drop any app in the library into split-screen mode. Tablets are also getting palm rejection support when a stylus is used, so you don't have any more accidental touches.

Besides, there is a feature of HDR video support on third-party camera apps in Android 13, a new media output switcher, and braille displays for Talkback.
