Guwahati: The 8th edition of Assam Down Town University's Job Fair concludes on a positive note. Assam Down Town University has been in operation for 12 years. ADTU has been keenly organising such job fairs for the past 8 years in order to provide better job opportunities for our graduates.

This year's job fair was organised with the goal of allowing students to not only look at the best options but also interact with the companies. The job fair attracted nearly 58 companies from the Northeast and beyond.

Not to mention the multinational corporations with other regional offices who participated in this fair. Prof. N.C. Talukdar, Vice-Chancellor, Assam Down Town University, stated, "Our university is a placement-driven university, which means that we make sure that the graduates that we produce are engaged, empowered, or get jobs immediately after they complete the course."

ADTU has introduced several unique programmes such as pharmaceuticals, paramedics, nursing, microbiology, and biotechnology, where the opportunity is far greater than in any other company.

"Every year, we receive a large number of placements.
Another significant aspect of the job fair is that graduates from other universities in Northeast India are welcome to attend and participate in the placement drive "ADTU VC continues. Aditya Birla, Piramal Swasthya, Marico, and Dabur are just a few of the companies that took part in the job fair.

Many healthcare facilities from Guwahati participated in this job fair, as we have a strong base of nursing faculties.

This job fair also includes pharmaceuticals, paramedics, microbiology, biotechnology, and other health science sectors, industries, and companies.
