Dipangku Bharali who is a resident of Pathsala in the Bajali district of Assam is now earning more than 5 lakh per month by running two youtube channels. He owns two youtube channels that share information on tourist places and other facts related to other countries. ‘Unknown Mysteries Hindi’ and ‘Touropedia’ are the two Youtube channels run by Dipangku.

‘Unknown Mysteries Hindi’ shares amazing and mind blowing facts about different countries of the whole world and has 45.9 Lakh subscribers presently. ‘Touropedia Hindi’ also has the same content and majorly focuses on facts about different countries and has 10.6 lakh subscribers. The channels started in 2017 and 2020 respectively and has also earned him two gold play buttons and three silver buttons from Youtube.

His journey from being a private company employee with a monthly income of Rs. 8000 to owning Youtube channels that earns him Rs. 4 to 5 Lakh per month was not very rosy. Bharali says “It was difficult for me to survive at Rs 8000 monthly salary at a private company. So I left my job and started a YouTube channel with the support of my wife Chandana and my friend, Nayanjyoti Talukdar. Nayanjyoti with his mother also runs a YouTube channel named ‘Khaoni’ , a food blog channel.”

Besides the income, Bharali said that he is proud that now he can employ other people as well and help them generate income. “ I now have 20 employees across India. Without their hard work it is impossible for me to grow my channels” says Bharali.

Bharali also said that to start a channel we have to work hard, be consistent and give it time hoping to inspire other youths to leap. At a time when unemployment is at its all time high and youngsters are struggling to make ends meet, a section of young people are creating a name and livelihood for themselves on YouTube.
