Assam has qualified for the nationals of IndiaSkills Competition under the WorldSkills India Program, an initiative of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India.

Overall, 20 participants, covering 15 skills, were qualified for the Nationals to be held from 23rd-27th December 2021 at Bangalore.

The skills covered the sectors like beauty therapy, electronics, graphic design technology, web technologies, hotel reception, health & social care, auto body repair, plastics die engineering, mobile robotics, CNC miling & turning, restaurant services, electrical installations, and welding.

Furthermore, upon qualifying Nationals, the champions from Assam will be leading to the WorldSkills International Competition representing India.
