Guwahati: The Oil Marketing Companies announced a hike by Rs. 25 per 19 kg in the price of commercial liquid petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders, effective January 1, 2023.

Prices for domestic LPG, on the other hand, would remain unchanged.

The new rates go into effect on January 1st.

With the rise in commercial LPG cylinder prices, it will cost Rs 1,768 per cylinder in New Delhi, Rs 1,721 per cylinder in Mumbai, Rs 1,870 and Rs 1,917 per cylinder in Kolkata and Chennai, respectively, and Rs 1,950 in Guwahati.
