Emerging MSME meet in Imphal by FINER

In order to cater to the needs of emerging MSMEs in North Eastern Region, The Federation of Industry and Commerce of North-eastern Region (FINER) is organizing the International MSME (Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises) Conference in Northeast Region on November 4, in Imphal.

The Conference mainly aims to cater to the needs of emerging MSMEs in the North-eastern region.

Minister of Trade, Commerce & Industries, Government of Manipur, Nemcha Kipgen, will inaugurate the event.

The countries participating in the event are Japan, Taiwan and Thailand.

The delegates from the above countries are Yasua Taniguchi from Japan, Marie Wakina from Japan, Ru Yi Ong from Taiwan and William Lamsan from Thailand.

According to the Assistant Director of FINER Mayuri Bora, the motive to select Manipur for the Conference is to bring people from various countries visit Manipur.

According to Tabrez Khan, Manager- Projects of FINER, there are expectations that about 120 entrepreneurs from the handloom, bamboo, agriculture and food processing sectors of Manipur participate in the conference.

The representatives from Ministry of MSME of the Government of India shall also participate in the event.

The conference is also a part of celebration Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav by FINER commemorating 75 years of Indian independence.
