Guwahati: Spanish Square-one of the largest co-working spaces in North East India, was inaugurated by Prafulla Kr Saikia, an entrepreneurship motivator, writer, and former additional Director of Industries and Commerce Department, Govt of Assam.
According to a press release, Saikia, speaking on the occasion, said that as the start-up ecosystem in Assam is now picking up, this kind of initiative is going to boost the same.
Here a start-up company can get all the business facilities under one roof at a very affordable cost. This brings down the cost of investment and operation for a budding entrepreneur.
The co-working space is not only about facilities, but also about networking and ideation, which will help the businesses grow, Saikia said.
The man behind the project, Anil Saraf, Chairman of the Avantika Group of Companies, said that all the facilities are at par with any other co-working space in India. It has high-speed Internet connectivity, a modern cafeteria, meeting and conference room, power back up, and many other allied business services. Premium cabins from 3 to 9 seaters are also available for corporate and small businesses.
During the Covid pandemic, many offices closed down due to high rentals and overheads, but here they can opt for flexible plans as per their requirement, the release added.
