IIT Guwahati to host Kickstart Industrial Conclave 2.0 from 14-15 feb

Guwahati: IITG-BioNEST Bio-Incubation Centre, backed by (BIRAC), Govt. of India, is strategically positioned at the campus of IIT Guwahati with an aim to promote creative research and entrepreneurial activity in fields relating to healthcare and industrial biotechnology.

In order to establish a distinctive model in North East India and to explore opportunities for market creation, technology transfer, and product commercialization, IITG BONEST is hosting the second edition of Kickstart 2.0, Industry Conclave. This will aid startups throughout India by promoting their market reach and business expansion. The Conclave is designed specifically for Start-ups, Aspiring Entrepreneurs, SMEs, and MSMEs to network with Industry Stalwarts, Seasoned Accelerators, and Wise Investors.

The two-day "Power-packed" event will have Startups, Innovators, and Medium and Small businesses from Healthcare. Agritech, Renewable Energy and Digital Solutions domains. We will also be showcasing the "Vocal for Local" innovations from the grass root level, facilitating their global visibility and market expansion.

The goal of the conclave is to introduce the northeast startups to the ecosystem's investors, who will attend from various industries like defence and healthcare.

More than 50 doctors from all around India, particularly the northeast, will attend this colloquium to explore the kind of innovations needed for the healthcare industry and to solve the pain points.
The conclave will also have the presence of TATA Group, Apollo, Vedanta, and numerous other enormous businessmen to see the innovative northeast India.

The concept also focuses on goods produced by outside businesses that may be shipped to the northeast and customised before being launched.

In order to create a synergy between the investors, industry, market, and startups, it will be possible for the stakeholders in this sector to comprehend the region's ecosystem and what it has to offer. And in the near future, this relationship will encourage a great lot of inventive developments that will benefit the entire ecosystem.

Over 30 investors and more than 50 companies will pitch their ideas throughout the conclave. This conclave's investors hope to raise $50 million. Most of them are going to be angel investors.

Also, a separate delegation will be kept for the defence industry with an emphasis on smart technology advancements that may be very beneficial in this industry.

BioNEST IIT G is hosting a large networking event in IIT Guwahati where entrepreneurs from all across the country will interact with investors, industrialists, and panellists.

Following the defence, healthcare, and IT sectors, the conclave will have a strong emphasis on the sustainable industry. Most of the participating start-ups are local and actively promote eco-friendly inventions and other similar topics.
