May 22, 2021: With the onset of the last week of May, a bank holiday already observed from 23rd May(Sunday), will be followed by 26th May (Buddha Purnima) and 30th May (Sunday). The bank shall remain on these above 3 days, however, it isn’t consecutive. Several parts of the nation will remain shut for a total of 3 days in the month of May 2021 in the parts including Arunachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, J&K, Ladakh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Sikkim, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh & West Bengal.
With an accordance to RBI Guidelines,on the second and fourth Saturday, Sundays & National Holiday, all the Private Sectors Banks across the nation remains shut. So the following dates, 23rd, 26th and 30th of May will observe holiday turning into a count of three days holiday.
