McDonald’s opens its first outlet in NER in Guwahati

Guwahati: US fast food chain, McDonald’s opened its first outlet in Guwahati on Monday-which is its first outlet in the North Eastern Region.

The restaurant located at Beekay towers at Ganeshguri, is spread over an area of 6,700 sq. ft and has a seating capacity of 220 guests at a time.

The outlet further features a contemporary look and feel. It comes with globally inspired décor, furniture, and exterior design, offering a warm and welcoming restaurant environment.

Announcing the launch of the outlet, Rajeev Ranjan, Managing Director, of McDonald’s India-North and East, said, “We are excited to launch our first restaurant in Northeast India. Guwahati, being the gateway for Northeast India, is a strategic location for us paving way for future expansion possibilities. Our presence here is a step towards making the world-class McDonald’s experience accessible to the people of Guwahati and part of our expansion plans in the Northeast region”.
