Meta soon to roll out paid features for Whatsapp, Facebook and Instagram

Meta is planning to introduce paid features for Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp. This will be a whole new division that will be particularly be available on pay.

The newly formed group called the New Monetisation Experiences will be led by Meta’s ex-head of Research, Pratiti Raychoudhuri.

Meta’s paid feature division is first of its kind which extends across Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp.

The paid features are introduced as a result of Apple’s tracking changes resulting in severe downturn of Meta’s ad business.

However, confirmation is yet to be made on what exact features will fall under the paid feature segment, but the company has said that advertisements from Meta apps cannot be removed.

Meta’s upcoming plan is similar to that of Snapchat and Twitter. Recently, Telegram launched its set of paid features.
