Guwahati: Mizoram Governor, Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, urged the Department of Labour, Employment, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (LESDE) and its training partners to build additional vocational and skill development training courses to improve the employability of the educated young in the state.

He encouraged the young and gifted youth to start exploring for infinite prospects beyond the State, and even outside the nation, because government positions alone cannot accommodate all degree holders. The Governor urged all job seekers seeking positions overseas to use extreme caution when choosing the placement agency in his speech to help them avoid the problems that typically arise when they approach phoney agencies. "I firmly advise the general people to exercise extreme caution while looking for work overseas because there are several phoney and dubious job services. He advised choosing certified and recognised agencies since they are always safer.

The Governor also thanked the Jay Jay TPS for the vital work they have been doing for Mizoram's jobless young in locating opportunities both domestically and abroad.

He also expressed his gratitude to Jay Jay TPS, the first and only registered recruiting firm in Mizoram with a licence from the Ministry of External Affairs, for providing the 1st Batch of Caregiver Trainees with their authentic and reliable credentials (MoEA).

The establishment of Nightingale Care Services, a new effort that would be a key step in formalising the state's home healthcare business, was applauded by the governor.

He pushed the state's bright and talented young to begin looking for limitless opportunities beyond the State and even outside the country, and he asked the LESDE and its training partners to offer new vocational & skill development training courses to boost the employability of the educated youth in the state.

Since its inception in 2011, Jay Jay TPS has taught more than 600 trainees and successfully placed about 400 trained individuals both domestically and internationally.

With the recent expansion, the facility can now house 140 residential trainees. 26 participants from the pilot group have almost finished their three months of instruction. 21 applicants from the second group are currently finishing their training. The Nightingale Care Services is supported by the North Eastern Council and approved by the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship, an independent body under the Central Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.

Beginning with the organisational report submitted by D. Eich Thanga, manager of Jay Jay TPS, Nightingale Care Services was launched.
