Mjunction holds first e-auction of cardamoms

Guwahati: The B2B e-commerce company mjunction has conducted its first-ever e-auction of large cardamoms in Nagaland.

Mjunction (https://www.mjunction.in/) received the auctioneer license from the central Spices Board to conduct the auction.

The buyers from West Bengal, Assam, Karnataka and Sikkim participated with offerings from Phek Organic Large Cardamom Producer Company Limited that took part in the event through mjunction platform on March 21.

The event concluded with cent percent sales with an average sale price of Rs 562 per kg.

The Spices Board of India informed that 0.8 metric tonne sold through e-auction at Rs. 561 per kilogram for 0.4 metric tonne for Rs. 563 per kilogram.

The highest bidder in this event is Kukkr Technologies, a Bengaluru-based spice exporter.

Mjunction MD Vinaya Varma said that the portal is also very keen to explore and provide its technology backed auction platform with all its value-added services to spice sellers and buyers nationally.

The Director Marketing, Spices Board B N Jha, congratulated the company under the Spices Board of India and all stakeholders for the successful e-auction event.

The CEO of Kukkr Technologies, Vijay Kumar G, expressed his gratitude to mjunction for bringing the sellers to the platform and hoped the buyers could get more benefits and varieties of spices in the coming days.
