NEDFI Opportunity Scheme for Small Enterprises is introduced to remove the hurdle of funds for small enterprises of the North-eastern region. Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided based on the cost of the project. The loan is provided either in the form of a Term Loan or working capital or a combination of both. The loan is disbursed at a highly competitive interest rate of 8% per annum payable monthly basis.

Implementation

Under this scheme, all medium and small enterprises across the NE states are getting financial assistance at their doorsteps. A business facilitator is sent to the clusters who educate the artisans and the unemployed youths about the entire process from registration to disbursement of loans. The business facilitator initiative adopted under this scheme helps the local entrepreneurs to reach out to us and thus find a way to a stable life.

NoSSE is one of the flagship products of NEDFI. Every year 120-180 crores are disbursed to the enterprises under this scheme.
