Guwahati: NHPC Limited, India's leading hydropower corporation, announced the highest ever Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 3538 crore on a standalone basis in FY 2021-22, compared to Rs 3245 crore in the previous fiscal. that is a 9 percent increase.

The company's consolidated Net Profit for 2021-22 was Rs 3774 Crore, up from Rs 3600 Crore in 2020-21, representing a 5% rise.

NHPC Power Stations generated 24855 million units (MU) in the fiscal year 2021-22, which is 384 MUs more than in the fiscal year 2020-21. For the fiscal years 2021-22, the Board of Directors has proposed a final dividend of Rs 0.50 per equity share, in addition to an interim dividend of Rs 1.31 per share. The total dividend for FY 2021-22 is Rs 1.81 per share, which is the highest ever announced by the company.
