OIL received ‘Best CSR Practices Award’ at Global CSR Leadership Award

Duliajan: The second highest profit making Natural gas and crude oil producing and transporting PSU, Oil India Limited (OIL) has been awarded with a prestigious award on it's 64th foundation day.

Oil India Limited was founded on February 18, 1959 and this year the company has celebrated their 64th year of establishment. Coincidentally on this day, this year, OIL was honored with ‘Best CSR Practices Award’ on at the Global CSR Leadership Awards at Taj Land Ends, Mumbai.

The award was given in the presence of eminent jury, various PSUs, Government & private sector organisations, reputed global practitioners of CSR & Sustainability from corporate & development sectors and management students representing several reputed institutions from across the country by World CSR Congress.

On behalf of OIL, the award was received by Nayana Madhu Dutta, Senior Manager-PA (CSR) & Shatabdi Mahanta, Manager-PA (CSR). Later, the OIL CSR team handed over the award to Rajeev Baruah, ED (HR&A) in the presence of Shri Debashis Bora, GM-PA (HoD), Shyamal Prasad Das, GM-PA, and other senior officials of OIL.
