Guwahati: Project Sadbhavana- a one-time initiative taken by the government of Assam is a step towards the digitization of state. On 1st February 2022, a ceremonial launch was held at the International Auditorium of Shrimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra for the Project Sadbhavana, under the gracious presence of hon'ble CM of Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, Shri Atul Bora, Shri Pijush Hazarika, Shri Ranjit Kumar Das, Shri Jishnu Baruah, Shri Ashok Singhal, Shri Parimal Suklabaidya, Dr. Ranoj Pegu, Shri Keshab Mahanta, Smt. Ajanta Neog, Shri Yogen Mohano, Shri U.G Brahma along with Assam Secreteriat members. This is an aspiring project of Assam govt. to provide public service efficiently. With respect to digitization, all the files of Janata Bhawan will be settled under the project on priority basis of 10 May, 2021. The public will be able to know the status of the files through the ‘goodwill portal’ and will monitor the implementation of the government project through ‘dashboard’. The management of 'E office' will also be started from May 2022 phases.

Assam CM further mentions that all ministers and employees must fully commit to this cause by realizing the point of view of Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, on providing compassionate public service. Government revenue security and ensuring no injustice to anyone, should be the foundation stone of the process.

Also, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma and the government is deeply hopeful that the public coming to Janata Bhawan will benefit from the overall unrecognitive files and also will introduce a good environment in the Janata Bhavan as a clean-clean office.
