New Delhi: This Thursday, on 12 August 2021, Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) recorded a higher net profit of Rs. 232.26 crore with a 64.73 percent rise in the Quarter end of 30th June 2021.

The Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways had registered a consolidated net profit of Rs 140.99 crore in the previous year’s quarter. 

The rise of consolidated income was up to Rs. 3,931.80 crores against Rs. 2,967 crores of the previous year. The total expenses have also increased from Rs. 2,785.08 crore to Rs. 3,652.08 crore.

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) is an owned PSU under the Ministry of Railways incorporated in the year 2003 with a twin objective of raising extra-budgetary resources and implementation of projects relating to creation and augmentation of the capacity of rail infrastructure on a fast track basis.
