Reliance Jio launches True 5G services across NE

New Delhi: Reliance Jio announced the rollout of its True 5G services throughout all six states in the North-East circle, linking 7 cities with the Jio True 5G network: Shillong, Imphal, Aizawl, Agartala, Itanagar, Kohima, and Dimapur.

Reliance Jio has further committed to bringing Jio True 5G services to every town and taluka in the North-Eastern states by the end of 2023.

Jio subscribers will be welcomed to the Jio Welcome Offer starting on January 27 in seven cities spread across six states: Arunachal Pradesh (Itanagar), Manipur (Imphal), Meghalaya (Shillong), Mizoram (Aizawl), Nagaland (Kohima and Dimapur), and Tripura (Agartala). Once signed up, Jio True 5G subscribers may receive Unlimited Data at rates of up to 1 Gbps+ at no extra cost.

"Jio is happy to announce the introduction of True 5G services in all six states of the North-East Circle beginning today," a Jio spokesperson said in a statement regarding the event. With its dependable wireless network, this cutting-edge technology will especially help the inhabitants of the North-East in the area of healthcare. It will also improve a number of industries, including agriculture, education, e-governance, IT, SME, automation, artificial intelligence, gaming, and many more. Within less than 4 months of its beta debut, Jio True 5G has already expanded to 191 cities.

Reliance Jio launched its largest True 5G rollout to date earlier this week. The telecom provider expanded the areas in which Jio True 5G is available by 50 more cities. The number presently stands at 191 after the inclusion of the cities in the northeastern states.

In addition to the six states in the northeast, Reliance Jio True 5G is accessible in the following states: Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Haryana, Jharkhand, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Puducherry, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.
