The Assam Royal Global University celebrated the grand inauguration of its Royal Boutique at the Fashion Design Department on September 20, 2023, at the university campus. This event marked a crucial milestone in the university's dedication to nurturing creativity and innovation in fashion. The primary goal of the Royal Boutique is to serve as a dynamic platform for showcasing the creative talents of students while providing hands-on experience in various aspects of the fashion industry. Dr. A.K. Pansari, the Chancellor, inaugurated the boutique, with Prof. Dr. S.P. Singh, the Vice Chancellor, and Mr. Ankur Pansari, the Executive Vice President, as chief patrons. Distinguished Chief Guests included Saumar Sharma and Mithu Boiragi, renowned Fashion Designers and founders of prominent fashion organizations, who shared their insights into the fashion industry's opportunities. Mr. Prashant Ghosh and Mr. Amit Baruah, renowned Fashion Designers, also graced the ceremony, showing industry support for the university's fashion education initiatives. The event featured 43 enthusiastic students from the Fashion Design Department, accompanied by dedicated faculty members, including Mr Asif Iqbal Mazid, Ms Akriti Mazumdar, Ms. Pubika Michong, Ms. Gazala Anjum Goney, and Ms. Aruniva Bhagawati. The Royal Boutique at The Assam Royal Global University is poised to become a centre for creativity, innovation, and fashion excellence, with the backing of university leadership, esteemed guests, and the dedication of its students and faculty.
