One of India's e-commerce marketplace Flipkart has added the Assamese language on its platform. Overall in the time of amid pandemic COVID, 19 online e-commerce market is helping people in doing shopping through online mode sitting at home. Adding the Assamese language will help customers in building journey with e-commerce platform and also boost the market place especially local sellers, MSMEs, and artisans in rising of their products and make their product face popular entire Globe.

With the addition of Assamese, Flipkart is now available in nine Indian Languages ( Hindi, Telegu, Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, and  Odia.

 Assam Industry and Commerce Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary, sharing the news  Patwory wrote on Facebook “Glad to inform that Flipkart now offers Assamese language services in the marketing of products. This will enable the people of Assam to enjoy e-commerce in our own language .”

In line with its aim of leveraging locally developed language solutions to help bring the next 200 million customers on board, Flipkart has added all these Indian languages’ support to its app.
