Guwahati: Trade expo inaugurated in Nagaland

The Minister of State, Development of Northeast Region (DoNER) and Co-operation, BL Verma, inaugurated the 3rd Mon International Trade Expo and Fair 2023 recently in Mon, Nagaland.

The project was funded by the Northeastern Council, Ministry of DoNER.

The Minister of State informed the gathering on the vision and mission of the ministry of DoNER and a special focus on northeastern region.

He further informed that Tizit has been selected as a backward Block and all necessary efforts will be taken up to ensure inclusive and participatory development.

Verma was accompanied by advisor Treasuries and Accounts, Art and Culture, K. Konngam; Deputy Commissioner Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma, Joint secretary, Anuradha S. Chagti and Under Secretary, DoNER, N. Simte and other officials.
