Roodraksh Mall recently hosted an inspiring business meet by Womaniaas, a vibrant women's networking group. The event saw women entrepreneurs from various industries gather to share their experiences, growth, and the strength of unity in business. Among the most notable women-started businesses was an emerging jewellery business.
"One day, I suddenly had an idea of having a jewellery line. I took the plunge, and in October, I had my first major break at an exhibition," said the entrepreneur and member of Womaniaas while reminiscing about how her business started. She credits the success of that event, organised in collaboration with her mother-in-law's Kamez's Boutique, being the break-even point for her entrepreneurial journey.
"Within six to seven months, we have already earned Rs 1.7 lakh in revenue and a profit of nearly Rs 90,000 to Rs 1 lakh," she proudly disclosed, pointing out the possibilities occurring when family, creativity, and business converge.
Divya Siotia, Womaniaas founder, explained the vision driving the business meeting. "The core reason behind the event is to create a network where women empower and support one another. We feel a woman has the back of another woman as well as a man because we are all born to shine," she said while emphasising that the event was not just about personal success; it was a party of collective development.
As per Siotia, Womaniaas believes in the philosophy that "magic happens when everyone supports each other." The meet was a platform where women presented their brands, established new partnerships, and reeled off their success stories. "We don't write about struggles; we write about doing away with them," she underscored, detailing how the group makes dreams turn into successful businesses through collaboration and networking.
Womaniaas is over four years old and has slowly developed a sturdy network of women entrepreneurs. By conducting two business meets a month and some further online training classes, the company makes sure to keep learning and development on track.
"This time, we capped the meet at 25 members, but we were surprised to have over 45 women attend. It's a testament to the energy and power of networking," said Siotia, adding that every meet winds up with attendees taking away not only business cards but also new information, collaborators, and poise. "The face-to-face networking human touch creates a sense of membership and trust that no artificial intelligence program can," she further stated.

Looking beyond her business, Siotia explained that Womaniaas has been a life-changer for so many women. "As a founder, there's nothing better than to hear from our members that their companies have thrived because of Womaniaas. They've met people they otherwise wouldn't have," she proudly stated.
The company has encouraged a genuine "business family" where business people do not merely look for sales but guidance, camaraderie, and development together. As Womaniaas broadens its outreach and influence further, initiatives like the Roodraksh Mall Business Meet are redefining the way business communities are built with compassion, empowerment, and cooperation at the centre.
