Assam: Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma to provide simple and easy process registration for the jobless across the state on Wednesday 30th June, addressed while reviewing the functioning of the skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship Department and Directorate of Employment & Craftsman Training at his conference hall at Janata Bhawan and issued several directions with a detailed presentation given at the very beginning of the meeting.
Assam Chief Minister directed the department to launch an online process of registration with utmost free of cost with registration linking with their individual Aadhaar enrollment no. for the uneployed people of the entire state. Also directed to add an option to delete one’s name in the portal once after finding employment.
“Similarly, there must be the provision of auto-deletion of names if the registered candidates do not renew their registration within the stipulated time,” he added
Also issued directions to make the six under-construction in the state functional at the earliest while taking steps for required new posts there. Also issued an instruction to appoint a Vice-Chancellor at the Assam Skill University soon to applicable activities of the university.
Assam CM instructed for taking steps by the ITIs to impart vehicle driving training to 5000 youths in the state in association with the Transport Department.
