Greenzo Energy gets hydrogen project from TANGEDCO; order book stands at Rs 1,200 cr

New Delhi : Greenzo Energy announced on Monday that it has successfully obtained a multi-crore hydrogen project, increasing the value of its overall order book to Rs 1,200 crore. Greenzo Energy stated that Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO), a state-owned entity, has awarded the most recent contract. The company stated that the TANGEDCO green hydrogen project has boosted the order book to Rs 1,200 crore.

Greenzo Energy stated that this project will be carried out at the Ennore SEZ Supercritical Thermal Power Plant with a capacity of 2x660 MW, which is owned by TANGEDCO. The value of the order was not revealed by the company due to contractual agreements. Greenzo Energy is set to build a hydrogen production facility that can produce 20 normal cubic meters of hydrogen every hour, which signifies a significant achievement in pushing forward India's Green Hydrogen Mission. Sandeep Agarwal, Founder and Managing Director of Greenzo Energy India Limited, announced that the project will be finished within an 18-month timeframe.

He mentioned that the electrolyzers for the Tamil Nadu project will be created and assembled at the company's plant in Sanand, Gujarat. Greenzo Energy offers comprehensive green hydrogen energy solutions as an integrated provider. It constructs, possesses, and manages renewable and green hydrogen infrastructure to provide specialized zero-emission energy services to clients.
