Guwahati to host India Industrial Fair from April 22 to 25; aimed at tapping onto industrial sector

Guwahati: Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB). Purvottar Prant is organizing the LUB national working committee and national executive committee meeting in Guwahati from April 23 to 25, where its 200-strong office-bearers from all the 28 States and 8 Union Territories of India will be present, which shall thereby connect to around 40,000 members of Laghu Udyog Bharati all over India.

Addressing a press conference here, Lundia said. "We are organising the 'India Industrial Fair (Udyam-2022) to attract investments, especially in the industrial sector, and market access to the MSMEs of this region. We will be addressing connectivity issues of various businesses of the Northeast."

The fair will be held at the Veterinary Ground here from April 22 to 25.

The press meet also saw the release of a brochure of the upcoming '7th India Industrial Fair - Udyam 2022.

"As we are expecting representation from various sectors, we shall be creating 5,000 square metres of air-conditioned exhibition space. We anticipate the participation of 250+ MSME stalls from across India. The plan is to connect industries, suppliers, vendors, technology suppliers, machine suppliers, etc., and to display their products," chairman of the event Vivek Agarwal said.

Ashish Deorah, national joint general secretary, who was also present at the press meet, said Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Industries & Commerce Minister Chandra Mohan Pato wary have agreed to be the chief patron and co-patron of the event, respectively.

Ravi Sureka, LUB Purvot tar general secretary, said LUB is confident the event will result in the all-around industrial development of the region and that the local entrepreneurs will be greatly.

To make the event a grand success, a committee was formed under the chairmanship of Ashish Deorah and Vivek Agarwal along with other members from Laghu Udyog Bharati, Purvottar Prant.
