Following closely behind are prominent figures like Gautam Adani with $84 billion, Shiv Nadar with $36.9 billion, and Savitri Jindal & Family with $33.5 billion.

Mukesh Ambani continues to shine on the global stage, securing the 9th position worldwide and remaining the sole Indian representative in the top-10 global billionaires list. This feat marks a historic milestone as he becomes the first Asian to join the coveted $100 billion club.

Globally, the trend of increasing billionaire numbers and wealth persists, with a total count of 2,781 billionaires worldwide now possessing an aggregate wealth of $14.2 trillion, reflecting a $2 trillion surge from the previous year.

India's 200 billionaires solidify the country's position as the third-largest globally in terms of billionaire count, underscoring its growing economic significance on the world stage. Notably, the surge in billionaire numbers and wealth highlights the concentration of wealth within India's elite circles, reflecting the country's evolving economic landscape.

Among the notable additions to India's billionaire roster are Naresh Trehan, Ramesh Kunhikannan, and Renuka Jagtiani, while Byju Raveendran and Rohiqa Mistry have been excluded from this year's list.
