Indian American Neal Mohan to be new YouTube Head

New Delhi: Indian American Neal Mohan will be new head of YouTube, the world’s largest online video platform.

The decision has come after the stepping down of YouTube current Chief Executive Officer Susan Wojcicki, 54, after nine years at the helm. The same is updated by her in a blog post on February 17.

Neal Mohan is now working as the Chief Product Officer of the video platform.

Wojcicki said that she will focus on "family, health, and personal projects now on.

Wojcicki, who was previously a senior vice president for ad products at Google, became CEO of YouTube in 2014.
She was among Google's earliest employees and has been with the parent company Alphabet Inc for nearly 25 years.
