RBL bank distributes bicycles and school kits to underprivileged girls in Guwahati

Guwahati: The RBL bank on Monday donated 300 bicycles to underprivileged girls in Guwahati, Assam. The bank is distributing 2,000 bicycles and school kits to underprivileged children across India as part of its 'Umeed 1000' CSR outreach programme.

The ARIAS Society and Department of Agriculture helped the bank identify the beneficiaries. "We stand fully committed to helping the marginalized communities with our unique CSR outreach programmes", RBL's MD and CEO R SubramaniakumarSAID. “In line with our mission of ‘community as the cause’, through sustained support, under UMEED 1000, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of girls and contribute towards a more equitable society."

RBL offers specialized services under five business verticals namely corporate and institutional banking, commercial banking, branch and business banking, retail assets, and treasury and financial markets operations.  It currently serves 14.97 million customers through a network of 538 branches.
