As in the time of the 2nd wave of Amid pandemic, Tripura has registered significant growth in Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) and Per Capita income in 2020-21 as compared to previous years.
State Law minister and state cabinet spokesman Ratan Lal Nath said this at a press conference on Monday.
Nath said that the Gross State Domestic Product has or maintains an upright position at Rs. 59,752.61 crore in the year 2020-21 during the time of amid pandemic COVID 19.
The GSDP in Tripura was Rs. 55,984.08 crore in 2019-20, Rs. 49,845.47 crore in 2018- 19, Rs. 43,715.80 crore in 2017-18 and Rs. 39479.40 crore in 2016-17.
“At present, the Per Capita Income of the people is Rs. 1,31,128.” ‘Nath’ shared that the Per Capita Income was Rs. 1,25,191 in 2019-20, Rs. 1,12,849 in 2018-19, Rs. 1,00,444 in 2017-18 and Rs. 91,596 in 2016-17.”
Speaking with the media, Nath claimed, the GSDP and Per Capita Income growth rates in Tripura are more than the national average.
