Guwahati: The State Department of Industries & Commerce has confirmed that MSME industries representing all the districts of Assam will participate as exhibitors at the 7th India, Industrial Fair-Udyam 2022 to be held from April 22 to 25.

The fair is being organized by the Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) Purvottar Prant at the Veterinary Ground here, along with the 'Udyamce Samellan' on April 25.

Addressing a press meet here, LUB Purvottar Prant president Manoj Lundia said that small exhibitors from across the country will also participate in the fair.

Govt departments like NSIC, EPCH, Coir Board, Tea Board, Coffee Board, APEDA, BIS, Rubber Board, BVCL, BCPL, etc., and banks like SBI, Union Bank of India, SIDBI, etc., are also participating in the exhibition, Lundia added.

The platform will address the connectivity to different sectors of businesses in Northeast and India to attract investments, especially in the manufacturing sector and market access to the MSMEs of this region. It will create a momentous environment of investment in the region, said the chairman of the event, Vivek Agarwal.
