New Delhi: On 1st August 2021, the Auto-majors including Maruti Suzuki India, Hyundai, and Tata Motors recorded higher double-digit growth in their domestic passenger vehicle sales in July 2021.

Similarly, Honda, Nissan, MG Motor, and Skoda recorded positive growth in their sales last month leveraging on improved market mood amid prevailing pandemic.

Maruti Suzuki India sales increased by 39 percent to 1,41,238 units last month. Hyundai Motor India has also reported a 26 percent jump in domestic sales at 48,042 units.
Further, Tata Motors has continued its impressive growth in passenger vehicles, followed by MG Motors India with a two-fold increase in retails sales at 4,225 units in July 2021, Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL) with a 12 percent rise in domestic sales at 6,055 units, Nissan India reporting a multifold growth at 4,259 units in July, and Skoda Auto India reported a three-fold increase at 3,080 units in domestic sales.

Moreover in the two-wheeler segment too, Royal Enfield reported a 9 percent rise in total sales at 44,038 units.

Overall, the automakers have been on a healthy graph for this July month of 2021 against July month of 2020.
