Gangtok: The store will feature more than ten female personnel at first, including store managers. The majority of these female employees are new to the company, making this a perfect stepping stone for them to begin their professional careers with a well-known company.

Pizza Hut, one of India's most popular and trusted pizza brands, has inaugurated its first all-women-operated outlet in Gangtok, Sikkim, demonstrating the company's dedication to empowering and inducting more women into the workforce and ensuring an 'Equal Slice for Everyone.'

Women will handle all aspects of the store, from food preparation to customer service to day-to-day management. The store will feature more than ten female personnel at first, including store managers. The majority of these female employees are new to the company, making this a perfect stepping stone for them to begin their professional careers with a well-known company.

Last year was a landmark year for Pizza Hut at Yum! Restaurants International, according to Chitra D Ram, Director – Capability & Culture.

"Earlier this year, we announced our bold new brand platform 'Dil Khol Ke Delivering' to let everyone know that Pizza Hut delivers the best taste and value, the simplest access, and our distinctive warm service across every channel," Ram said.

"To bring our 'Dil Khol Ke Delivering' tagline to life in a unique way, we've also enlisted the help of famed actor and comedian Anuradha Menon as our magnetic ambassador, making Pizza Hut one of the country's first few QSR chains to deploy a female ambassador as the brand's face," she added.

According to ANI, the entrepreneur stated that the firm is proud to start a new chapter by creating India's first all-women store, which puts women at the forefront of the action.

"My heartfelt congratulations to the entire team, and thanks for breaking barriers and inspiring other women," she stated.

Anuradha Menon congratulated Pizza Hut, saying she is thrilled and honoured to be a member of a company that promotes gender equality and demonstrates it in a powerful way.

"Dil Khol Ke salutes to the Gangtok store's all-women power team as they embark on this daring and adventurous path," Menon remarked.

Yum! Is the parent company of Pizza Hut. Inclusion and diversity criteria have also been continually set by brands, such as being named to the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI) for multiple years.
