Guwahati: Jio is soon going to launch a series of True 5G-powered initiatives across education, healthcare, agriculture, Industry 4.0 and IoT sectors in Gujarat, prior to its expansion across the country.

Gujarat is becoming the first state to get 'True 5G' in all 33 district headquarters. With this, Jio's "True 5G" is now available in 10 Indian cities and regions, including Delhi-NCR.

As part of the "Education-For-All" project, Reliance Foundation and Jio will first digitise 100 Gujarati schools.

Gujarat is currently the first state to have all district headquarters connected to our strong True 5G network, according to the company. Akash M. Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited, said, "We want to demonstrate the true potential of this technology and how it can affect a billion people.

Jio had previously stated that "True 5G," which offers limitless 5G bandwidth at rates of up to 1Gbps, is now available in Pune.

Jio customers in Pune are urged to take advantage of the Jio Welcome Offer beginning on November 23 to enjoy unlimited data at no additional cost.

Last week, Jio became the first operator to offer "True 5G" services over the whole Delhi-NCR area, including Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Ghaziabad, and other important cities.
