Guwahati: A day-long conclave on healthcare was organised by Guwahati Management Association in collaboration with Consortium of Accredited Health Organizations (CAHO) and PINNACLE Health Care Consultants Guwahati.

The North East HealthCare Management Conclave aims to create a platform for frontline workers, caregivers, policy makerts, owners and other stakeholders in healthcare and to serve as a medium to facilitate things as a comprehensive channel about the recent developments in healthcare and for improved patient care.

The agenda of the conclave included panel discussions where various luminaries from healthcare sector participated and delivered their points on medical tourism in NorthEast, Innovation in healthcare design, investments in the NorthEast healthcare sector, environment, and human resources management in hospitals.

Dr. Siddharth Singh, IAS, Commissioner & Secy. Medical Education & Research Department, Govt. of Assam, addressing as a chief guest fot the conclave said, "the region has a growing aspect in the healthcare sector, and what develop not has happened in last 40-50 years will happen in next 10 years. Assam now should be at forefront of the health sector in India".

The event was attended by various other luminaries from the health sector as well as the associated health organisations.
