Mumbai: Equity Benchmark Sensex makes a jump by 145 points and ends high today (16 August 2021).

The major gainers on the track were Reliance Industries, Bajaj Finance, and Tata Steel.

The 30-share index ended 145.29 points or 0.26 percent higher at a new peak of 55,582.58. It touched a record intra-day-high of 55,680.75.

The broader NSE Nifty too is advanced by 33.95 points or 0.21 percent to a fresh high of 16,563.05 and rose to 16,589.4p during the day.

Tata railed with a 4 percent gain, followed by Bajaj Finance, M&M, Bajaj Finserv, and Reliance Industries.

The Domestic benchmark indices have shown gains today.

Shanghai is on the positive graph, while the metal stocks are steady in pricing since June Quarter.
