IIE signs MoU with Indian School of Business to promote entrepreneurship among youth

The Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian School of Business (ISB) to offer world-class management education through entrepreneurial programmes targeting the youth, job seekers and budding entrepreneurs.

The MoU was signed by the Director of IIE with the ISB officials in the presence of the Secretary of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) Rajesh Agarwal in New Delhi.

According to the faculties of ISB and industry experts, the joint initiative will enable the development and implementation of two programmes, namely, the Business Foundation and the Entrepreneurial Skills and the Behavioural Skills Programme.

The Business Foundation and Entrepreneurial Skills Programme shall cover aspects like an introduction to microeconomics and macroeconomics and foundational aspects of business, through marketing management operations management, competitive strategy, negotiation analysis and basis of finance. This programme will emphasise entrepreneurial skills through incorporating an entrepreneurial orientation, understanding the start-up development pipeline, and identifying market needs, problems, and opportunities.

The Behavioural Skills programme on the other hand is aimed at empowering youth with awareness fill skills and starting eyes to enhance the personal and workspace effectiveness of students. The course includes self-awareness, inculcation of a growth mindset, effective verbal and nonverbal communication, presentation and Public Speaking, the art of networking, building a personal brand, the art of storytelling, intro to technology, ace job interview and negotiation levels.
