Guwahati: In a world hungry for technical exposure and genuine inspiration, the student community of IIT Guwahati is all set to embark on an extraordinary journey of Technothlon, the prestigious international school championship, an integral part of our annual techno-management festival ‘Techniche’.

This year the excitement knows no bounds as it is the silver jubilee edition of Techniche. The prelims are scheduled for July 16, and the competition goes virtual, allowing students to participate from the comfort of their own homes, using their respective devices.

Technothlon stands tall as an international school championship, an awe-inspiring initiative spearheaded by the brilliant minds of IIT Guwahati. Since its inception in 2004, Technothlon has traversed an awe-inspiring path spanning over 19 years, captivating the hearts and minds of students in over 400 cities worldwide.

The Juniors’ Squad, comprising talented 9th and 10th standard students, and the Hauts Squad, consisting of exceptional 11th and 12th standard students, will take on separate sets of thought-provoking questions meticulously crafted by the students of IIT Guwahati.

Technothlon unveils its enchanting journey in two phases: prelims and mains. The preliminary round challenges participants to unleash their raw potential, as no initial preparation is required. The top 50 participants from each squad earn the honour of advancing to the next round: the mains, hosted during Techniche at IIT Guwahati.
