MSME expects to meet its growth target within a time frame; also launches 2nd phase of MSME RuPAY

Guwahati: Union Minister for MSME, Shri Narayan Rane, has urged field officials to meet Micro Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) growth objectives in their respective districts within the time frame set. Addressing the National Conference of MSME- Development Institutes, Testing Centres, and Technology Centres, he stated that the conference will help shape Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's vision of Aatma Nirbhar Bharat.

Shri Rane also announced the second phase of the MSME RuPAY Credit Card, in collaboration with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and four banks: Kotak Mahindra Bank, Bank of Baroda, SBM Bank (India), and HDFC Bank. This card will offer MSMEs a streamlined payment solution for meeting business-related operating expenditures. Shri Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, State Minister for MSME, graced the occasion. The meeting was also attended by senior authorities from the Ministry of MSME, as well as officials from MSME-Development Institutes, Testing Centers, Technology Centers, NPCI, and bank executives.

The goal of this conference was to meet with officials from the Ministry of MSME's field offices to develop future strategies for improved implementation and monitoring of MSME programmes, as well as collaboration with state governments and other stakeholders for the benefit of MSMEs.

This seminar is organised by Enterprise India as part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav Campaign.
