This Monday, equity benchmark Sensex rose by 125 points. The major gainers are ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Infosys, and a positive trend was observed in Asian markets.
The 30 share index ended 125.13 points or 0.23 percent higher at 54,402.85 while the broader NSE Nifty advanced 20.05 points or 0.12 percent to 16, 258.25.
M&M was in top gains of Sensex with a 2 percent raise followed by Tech Mahindra, Bajaj Finserv, Induslnd Bank, Titan, and Dr. Reddy's, while the Domestic equities traded sideways.
Economic growth was visible indicating strong credit in subsequent months which aided financials today.
Followed by Asia, Hong Kong, Shanghai ended in gains.
