Nine days of Bank Holidays in June 2021-

In the month of June 2021, Banks shall remain close for a total of nine days in several parts of India.

The holidays declared under the Negotiable Instrument Act by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) consists of various festivals and weekends.
For this current month, there are three festive-based holidays on 15th June, 25th June, 30th June which are declared under the Negotiable Instruments Act.
The rest of the holidays are due to weekends.

For June 15, 2021, all the banks will remain closed in Aizwal and Bhubaneswar due to YMA Day/ Raja Sankranti

For June 25, 2021, banks of Jammu & Kashmir will remain closed for Guru Hargobind Ji's birthday

For June 30, 2021, Aizwal and Mizoram banks shall remain closed for Remna Ni.

The remaining weekend holidays are 6th June, 12th June, 13th June, 20th June, 26th June, and 27th June.

All the private and public sector banks across the country observe a holiday on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. And these bank holidays are made compulsory by RBI.

All the Bank customers are requested to follow the official Website of the Reserve Bank of India for the updated and verified list for bank holidays.
