Residential land price up after revised guideline

Guwahati: The price of the residential land category has been increased in the revised guideline on the zonal valuation of land issued by Revenue and D.M Department.

The land settlement branch of the Deputy Commissioner in Kamrup Metro issued fresh notices on the zonal valuation of land in the five revenue circles, namely Guwahati, Dispur, Sonapur, Chandrapur and Azara that fall under Kamrup Metropolitan district.

The increased price of residential land is the highest in Sahar Bharalumukh with a 260% increase.

Prices of the industrial sites in Pub Boragaon, Number 2 Fatashil, Number 2 Pashchim Boragaon are unchanged at Rs 20 lakh per bigha. It increased in Gotanagar to Rs 25 lakh per bigha. It is reduced and increased as per its distance from the main road.

The categories distance-wise include national highways within 100 m, beyond 100 m, main road within and beyond 100 m and PWD roads beyond 100 m for industrial sites. For trade and commercial sites and residential sites the main categories included Class I, Class II and Class III.

The various categories of land included industrial sites. Trade/commercial site, residential site, agricultural and tea land.
Among agricultural land, the categories include Bari, Bhal Bari, Lahitoli, Salitoli, Jalatak/Sesuk, and Foringati.

The prices of residential land category increased in all the revenue villages.
