A meeting was conducted today in Gangtok, Sikkim, chaired by Bedu Singh Panth, Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation. The conference was attended by senior government figures.

The Global Investors Summit presentation was presented by Additional Chief Secretary, Tourism and Civil Aviation, who emphasised several elements of how Sikkim might be one of the most appealing places for green investments.

The panel also agreed to compile different policy efforts from related departments, as well as MSME and North East Industrial Policy, into a booklet for distribution to participants.

During the conference, it was also decided to host a curtain-raiser for Visit Sikkim. Several committees will be formed to manage various elements of the conference. The government has already secured funding for the meeting.

He guaranteed that the Central Government and the State Governments will work together to develop the whole North East Region.
