Sonowal launches NE Dialogue booklet in Capital

Guwahati: Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal launched a booklet of the 3rd NER Dialogue NEMP Forum Meet in New Delhi on April 4.

The dialogue was organised by FINER on December 15 last year and was attended by eminent personalities, including policymakers, experts and stakeholders from various sectors.

The forum aimed to promote sustainable development and discuss the challenges and opportunities for the northeastern region.

The booklet contains a detailed argumentation of all the recommendations discussed at the forum. It will be widely circulated to all the central ministries and government departments of all northeastern states, providing a comprehensive overview of the discussions and recommendations made during the forum. It will serve as a valuable resource.

Mayuri Bora, assistant director at FINER, told Business Northeast that the booklet will be available to central ministries and government departments in 10-15 days.

The booklet will enable policymakers, experts and stakeholders to make precise decisions that contribute to sustainable development in the region, she added.

Bajrang Lohia, President, FINER, said, “We are pleased to have the support of Honourable Minister Shri Sarbananda Sonowal in launching this booklet. We hope that the recommendations and suggestions made during the forum will be implemented effectively, leading to sustainable development and prosperity for the northeastern region of India.”
