Guwahati: South Korean electronics giant LG on Monday officially launched the LG WashTower for the Northeast market at LG’s Best Shop Circuit City in Chandmari.

So, what is the LG WashTower?

Featuring an innovative unibody design and equipped with AI, the WashTower fuses hardware and software to “provide a new laundry experience”, a company executive said.

"The LG seamlessly combines hardware and software, offering a laundry experience that's not only efficient but also space-saving and visually appealing”, Hong Ju Jeon, MD of LG India, said on the launch. “With its AI-driven technology, the WashTower takes the guesswork out of laundry, ensuring that your clothes are handled with the utmost care.”

As per LG, the WashTower is equipped with advanced intelligence features that streamline laundry tasks. AI technology identifies suitable washing patterns. A ‘prepare to dry’ option, combined with quick wash and quick dry, completes laundry in just one hour, said the company in a release.

With the TurboWash360™ feature, laundry can be thoroughly cleaned in 39 minutes, while the ‘LG allergy care’ cycle reduces house dust mites. In addition to this, the device’s ‘smart pairing’ feature ensures that the dryer's cycle automatically syncs with the washer's settings.

The device was launched in the presence of several senior LG executives. “The WashTower is available in a compact size and presents a solution tailored to suit a diverse range of living spaces”, an LG executive noted.
