Mumbai: Suzuki Motorcycle India reported a one percent increase in sales for September, with 99,185 units sold. In the month of the previous year, the company had made sales of 97,994 units. Sales in the local market totaled 77,263 units last month, down from 83,856 units a year earlier.
In September 2023, exports increased by 55 percent compared to the previous year, reaching 21,922 units from 14,138 units. We have had a very positive first half of the current fiscal year. Robust customer interest has resulted in a 16 percent increase in the local market. "We are confident and well-equipped to fulfill changing customer demands as we head into the latter part of the year and festive period," stated Devashish Handa, Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and After-sales.
