New Delhi: HDFC, the country’s largest mortgage lender, unveiled a holiday offer today, similar to those of rivals like SBI, with house loans beginning at 6.70 percent.
Last week, as part of its seasonal feast, SBI gave a 6.70 percent concessional home loan rate as part of its festive offer. Other lenders, such as Punjab National Bank and Bank of Baroda, followed suit.
“Today’s housing is far more inexpensive than it has ever been. Property prices have stayed relatively stable in key areas across the country in recent years, while income levels have risen “HDFC Ltd’s MD, Renu Sud Karnad, stated.
She said that record low loan rates, subsidies under PMAY, and tax benefits have all aided the economy.
According to HDFC, the holiday plan includes: “Customers can apply for an HDFC house loan at a rate of 6.70 percent per year commencing September 20, 2021. This offer is valid for all new loan applications, regardless of loan size or job status “.. – Press Trust of India
