New Delhi: HDFC, the country's largest mortgage lender, unveiled a holiday offer today, similar to those of rivals like SBI, with house loans beginning at 6.70 percent.

Last week, as part of its seasonal feast, SBI gave a 6.70 percent concessional home loan rate as part of its festive offer. Other lenders, such as Punjab National Bank and Bank of Baroda, followed suit.
