AREIDA expo showcasing property dealers to encourage easy B2C communication

Guwahati: The 7th AREIDA Expo 2023 kicked off in Paltan Bazaar. People from all over the city and beyond thronged to the venue to take advantage of the amazing opportunity to view a variety of flats, apartments, and commercial spaces all under one roof. The event was organized by the Assam Real Estate and Infrastructure Developers' Association (AREIDA) to showcase their members' properties, as well as allied products and services of various industries.

The expo was inaugurated by Kavita Padmanabhan, the Commissioner and Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, and Vincent MD, the Chief General Manager of State Bank of India. They both praised the organizers for creating such an excellent platform for home buyers and investors to explore their options and secure loans.

The President of AREIDA, P.K Sharma, spoke about the challenges that buyers face when trying to purchase a property. He explained that people often find it difficult to physically visit each location and city, which can be taxing and time-consuming. However, the AREIDA Expo has made it easier for them by bringing everything together in one convenient location.

The expo featured 120 stalls displaying properties ranging from super luxury to affordable. Participants considered it a significant platform for their businesses, and visitors were expected to number around 10,000 over the five days.
The Chairman also mentioned that there would be no brokers involved in the transactions between the business and the customers, reducing the cost. He also confirmed that there was adequate parking for visitors, making it convenient for them to explore all the options.

Sharma advised visitors to know their capacity before coming to the expo to make informed decisions. The State Bank of India offered a 5% discount on interest rates for loans sanctioned during the expo, with other financial institutions offering spot sanctions.

The expo was a grand success, with many visitors securing their dream homes and commercial spaces. It had truly made it easier for people to explore their options and make informed decisions about property purchases.
