Speaking at a public event at the planned district sports stadium complex in Sariahtoli, the chief minister voiced confidence that these measures would go a long way toward fulfilling the goals of the citizens of the Nalbari district.

According to the Chief Minister, these measures have the potential to drastically change Nalbari district and make it one of the most advanced districts in the future on many fronts.

He made a plea to the district's residents for their support and cooperation in the government's effort to improve their socioeconomic and educational conditions.

Also, he declared that he would investigate the feasibility of building a cutting-edge contemporary sports stadium at Samata.

According to the Chief Minister, numerous districts will see the inauguration or launch of projects totaling a staggering Rs 40,000 crore in the coming months. The current regime's unleashing of a wave of growth and development in the State is evidence of the value placed on the welfare of all facets of society, he continued.

Chief Minister Sarma made reference to the time when legitimate public demands had to be met through strikes and protests, but said that the present administration is taking care of real ambitions on its own since it is aware of public sentiment.

Furthermore, while urging for widespread involvement in these programmes, the Chief Minister discussed many efforts targeted at the welfare of the public, particularly those aimed at reducing poverty.

He urged the families with low incomes who were excluded from the Orunodoi programme during its initial phase to apply right away for the program's impending Orunodoi 2.0.

Further, he asked for support from the people in order to carry out Mission Basundhara 2.0's planned objectives. The Chief Minister urged individuals who grow paddy to take advantage of the paddy procurement programme, saying it had been established to prevent farmers from selling their excess crop to middlemen and dishonest traders out of desperation.

He claimed that all Deputy Commissioners have been instructed to take strict action against any trader found to be buying paddy from growers for less than Rs. 2,040 per quintal.
